Unhappy Elder Scrolls III Morrowind

   how can i make morrowind run quicker on my machine, its a 750 duron, win xp pro, gf2mx, 256mb ram, and yet i get alot of slowdown, and sometimes i get so mutch slow down i cant play.

also another problem i have had is that, after playing for about 2 - 3 hours of playing the game cuts out and returns to my desktop, do you know what this is or how i can fix it.

Thanks

make sure you have the latest nvidia drivers. also, with a gf2 mx, you'll have to lower the resolution to 640x480. turn the view distance down, too.

this game is very video-intensive... especially for a geforce2 mx. sdram on a video card just don't cut it anymore. }:\

i'd highly recommend staying away from those mx cards - they're crappy. you also might want to think about buying some more ram. if you have xp on your system and you're running morrowind, try at least 512mb.
