Default Console ports wave of future?

Hi all,

Went and spent a great deal of cash for a crossfire/motherboard/ram last november. Expecting to play games @DX11.

Crysis2 shows up, and its a flipping port-over from 5 or 6 year old consoles. They didn't even bother to remove the "Press Start" at the beginning.

You gotta be kidding me.

Now COD:MW3 is the same thing.

What a waste on money.

First person shooter is not the place to look for cutting edge gaming. Witcher 2, Dragon Age 2, etc all use DX11 graphics

If HK-47 and GLaDOS had a child, the character they create would cause the video game world to overdose on awesome. -sheridanmovieguy: Dragon age forum user.

I'm getting a little tired of console ports to be honest. I miss having a PC good enough to run any modern games. That said, I enjoy knowing it's going to work when I put it in.
