Ugh, I hate animated smileys. Then again, I really do prefer just straight up ASCII to any replacement by images.

I like the new theme, it works really well!

I'm digging it - brings a bit of "fresh-ness" to the site.

I think I like the front page changes the most.

Not yet, once I am done with all my tweaking I'll look at the options.
Making a copy of the theme at this point would be silly and far more work as I am still editing alot of the templates.
