I don't know about everyone else... but this competition thing is actually kind of disgusting.

I'm pretty sick of all the cut 'n paste posts from people just out to win something.

I for one MIGHT be back next week when it's over.

I am sure it says somewhere on this thread - but is reputation going to stay as it is after the competition? I don't really mind - we can get a good idea as to what the old reputation was from the "power" anyway, unless that has also been reset?

Mainframeguy you're right this question has been answered in Electronic Punk's first post. See the below quote.

The power for members with posts before the contests was not reset, but new members start with a power of 0.

Everyone’s reputation has been reset to zero (although original reputations have been backed up to be re-added once the competition is over) with everyone starting in the same position.

I don't think I'll take part in this particular competition- between studies and work I don't have the time to post much. Plus, anyone who didn't start on the first day of this contest already has a severe disadvantage.
