Yeh I updated our forums as well.
BTW EP you need to take a look at your templates. The code for logged in members changed to allow a nice notifications menu.
Its not too bad to implement. You just need to add a line to your template. I used this below the last_visited_at phrase:

navbar by default but it depends on your template. If you search for

Also are you using batch mode for notification emails or instant?

Why let vBulletin queue email and send it when it is meant to be forum software, not a mail server. The mail server is meant to send email, so let it do it's job!

I do see notifications tho when there is something there, a friend request or pm etc.

3.7 is final now and I am just preparing to do a neat upgrade.
Unlike the betas I will be doing this slowly to remove redundant files etc. so will take a little longer.

I don't anticipate many template changes between the final and last release candidate so the forums won't be disabled.
