Default Java 7 fails to restrict access to privileged code
Users are urged to disable or uninstall java as there is a critical security vulnerability which is reportedly already being used for large scale cyberattacks.

Java 7 Update 10 and earlier contain an unspecified vulnerability that can allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on a vulnerable system.
Internet Explorer users should just uninstall Java for now.
