hmm, good idea! but that means i have to learn how to get the device to monitor usage over time. i know it does it, but i've never used that function. off and hibernate would use the same amount of power. i would bet that, from a electricity usage standpoint, it would be better to use...

well, i figured how to make a bootable ISO out of the files i DL'd when i purchased it... which basically seems to be the same thing you have linked. nice to have if i need the 32-bit version, though. thanks. will they work for retail and upgrade keys?
