Hi Chaps, I'll confess this is an area I know little about but I have a Dell Dimension 8400 which came as factory standard raid 0. Now the motherboard has died how do I go about getting the data off that I need? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to mail merge an excel spreadsheet to word, which all works fine but it puts big line breaks between each line that can't be removed, any ideas on what this is? Let me know if you need more info...

Been through the whole lot and still no joy. Looks like it's dead then, shame as the current drive boots to XP but is dying, strange thing is, I've loaded XP about 5,000 times and I've never seen a PC/Laptop do this.

Both triple checked many times! Such a weird one, never come across it before, any other clues as I'm suspecting hardware problem although it will still boot from old disk as soon as it's swapped back so that too eliminates wrong bios settings... Oh also checked BIOS update but there is none...

Hi chaps, got a really strange one. Got a Acer Travelmate 4060 here with a failing hard disk although it does still boot to XP. So easy job, change hard disk, and load xp again. Well everything appears to go well, XP setup starts, finds the disk, partitions and formats it then starts copying...

Like you say the first is hard as the MSI looks like a minefield to me, I'm sure some one with MSI knowledge may be able to spot which areas need adjusting. I've just tried your suggestion of installing the reg key prior to install but unfortunately it again complains about being tampered with...

I think you have the wrong end of the stick, I'm qualified enough to fix the problem, just that I didn't know where to find that bit of software :) If wireless routers near by are operating on the same frequency you can get interference and drop outs. I don't believe the theory that mixing...
