    128Bit v/card vs 256Bit V/card

    like another post was just saying, alot of 128 cards beat out the 256 cards everytime. 256 is more visually intensive, like video editing, animation or rendering (lightwave, bryce)

    i just got the 9800 pro and went through the same thing, i saw 256 got cheap and was like right on, but decided to find out why like you did, found some guy who benchmarked them side by side, pro beat it in every single game. Yeah go 256 when you wanna animate

    3d tetris... my mind was blown from that third "D"... that and you ccould never tell if you ever over your drop spot, or how high you'd built sk8 or die on NES... i still don't know how to do the half pipe california dreams on NES... the stupid roller blade girl has to jump over a crack...

    CPU Failure Help!

    try getting an older monitor and going vga instead of dvi. also try swapping with an old video card, see if you dvi port may have been damaged, if your card may have been damaged, or if this is one of the million things in a computer where something that claims to be messed up is totoally...

    :-d definitely the origional disk, perfectly clean. i would REALLY prefer not to have to reformat - BUT because i have thought baout this before......... i made 2 partitions on my 160 gig, i 10 gig for windows+ and one 150 gig for everything else, i did this but i've never gotten this far so...

    New 64bit won't boot

    Now, i'm 19 and strapped for cash, just blew it all on budget (ebay and rebates) stuff... i got at k8 neo board and a 3000+. ok, i took the hard driver from my old comp - it's 160 gig but it's only willed with about 90 gigs and it has winxp pro on it, when i do the boot, it just sits there...
