I am currently "Administrator" on a pc used by the kids.
However I need to get on using one of the accounts used by one of the kids to fix their email (they managed to delete the password in Outlook for the account - I dont want them to know the password for the email).
Is there any way...
Dont think there is an option in Outlook 2003 to do this... just had a quick look at my own but cant see anything unfortunately.
If you dont use Outlooks functions any further than for downloading email, Thunderbird is a better option (I've converted to Thunderbird myself but still have Outlook...
I'd check nothing is in his Outbox and also delete the item from Sent Items folder. See if it resends.
Check your mail settings to make sure you're not requesting your email client to leave a copy of the emails on the mail server.
I agree with this guy... I'd use a router even if I only had one computer connected to it.
If you REALLY want to ditch the router, I'd go with the normal XP firewall with SP2 - my brother in law is using it these days and its a lot better than Zonealarm's and Norton's efforts IMHO
lol... by getting that laptop working with Win98 and Office97, I have gained some silence in the house by avoiding the kids from arguing over their computer (for games and homework etc), so its definitely a good thing after all the work :p
Laptop has a different socket on it for data & power and I would need an adapter... (unfortunately :()
There is no modem in the laptop (again... unfortunately :()
But... the good news :)
I sat there with both laptops open and copied Win98SE using the winrar for dos version from one laptop...
Hi all, I've got an old laptop here which I want to install Win98SE on (currently has 2x partitions on a 1.3gb hdd, but nothing installed on either atm). There is no cdrom in the laptop and I dont have a parallel external cdrom to use. I do have a USB Zip100 but there are no DOS drivers for...
I would recommend setting it so it would download the emails and remove them from the server... If user A logs in and get sthe emails, User B (when logging in) will be recognised by Outlook as a different user, and will download all emails in the account which it doesnt already have (therefore...
Does anyone know where the saved games are held for NFS Underground? I've already looked in "My Documents" (where the saved games were for NFS:HP2) and they're not there. Anyone have any ideas? I'm jus wondering as I want to get my saved game off this PC onto another.
Aye, I would recommend going no higher than the recommended maximum resolution as specified by the manufacturer. 2048x1536 does look good... but 1600x1200 isnt so bad (especially as using 1600 will not dmg your monitor) :)
GUI change needs a full software flash and some editing... not to mention a compatible MBUS/FBUS data cable to upload the new flash to it (not an easy job, you really need to be able to code confidently as you'll b0rk the phone if you mess up as MBUS/FBUS talk direct to the EEPROM (main software...
I would definitely go with the Abit... know a few people who have this mobo and have heard nothing but good things about it (which is always good). You could also look at the direction of the Gigabyte GA-7NNXP (or newer equivalents) as this is also spoken well of.
