he i have a zenith motherboard with a cmi8783 sound chip... sometimes when i'm lucky i get sound but after a reboot i don't have sound anymore.. what's wong with it i already tried new driver but no luck i use XP pro

yeah i will do that prbably.. well what i did in the time.. i went into DOS mode and put the CD in.. changed to CD drive and ran setup.exe... well i got a "This program cannot be run in DOS mode" message.. well now i wonder.. how can it boot properky and set windows up if it can't...

yes they are.. i tried that win98 boot disk stuff too.. but it doesn't give me a system tensferred msg it gives me some kind of error.. since one fo you guys said that itg may be because the CD is not bootable: can anybody tell me how to burn a bootable CD? i already made an iso of it...
