thanks lee, i need to make more clear what i wanted to do, i have this program called ruckus that allows you to download all of the music that you want but it is drm protected. i would want to be able to put it on my phone and ipod. i would not be doing any file sharing or any thing of that...

does everyone else agree about the chances of getting caught? o and i am assuming that means it is illegal.

if i were buying a system that cost that much i would for sure go with a 8800 gts if not a gtx. i would also look into a 680i mobo. as for power supply i would go pcp&c. and for the hard drives, if you are running 4 in a raid 0 you better have a backup drive and a good waranty.

what socket cpu do you have? and if i were you i would bite the bullet and go c2d, but that is just me.

I recently learned that it greatly reduces your core temps if you take your IHS off. i was wondering how many people have done that here and how it dropped your temps?

what heatsink are you using on the nb? how hot can the nb go before i need to start worrying?
