    Thxs Glaanieboy, Just found about the same on TweakXP. The other step they added was to Run "control passwords2" and clear "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" and then Apply. Iandown

    XP Welcome Screen

    Anyone got a information on whether I can turn off the Welcome screen or not in XP. It appears to have been forced on me after one of Microsoft's multitude of patches. :confused:
