You know for all the commercials that show the Apple's/Mac's ability to do all kinds of fun stuff and Windows' inability to be fun it's interesting that MicroSquish won't do any in kind showing all the cool games that can run on Windows and not on a Mac.

![]() The X1900 XT in the Mac Pro should probably be able to handle it though. |

![]() As for the Mac games library, I agree, it's never been impressive, but it's certainly sufficient for anyone except hardcore gamers. Games really belong on consoles anyway, but that's a different matter

It's pretty easy
![]() Pretty much all console games like that have some degree of auto-aiming

I thoroughly enjoyed 'Blood Money' on the 360, snipage is tweaked for controllers
![]() On a related note, I'll be interested to see how Gears lends itself to the keyboard and mouse, also how UT3 fairs on with a controller

I think they izz settin these games for the Mac 'cause Le Big Mac now has an Intel under da hood, plus better/badder vid cards to go with it. Nothin like insane horsepower to bring out games.

Indeed, but who - apart from people with more money than sense - has a Mac Pro at home? Sure, the games will run on an iMac, but for truly smooth gaming, you're really going to need the power of the Mac Pro for some of the upcoming games.
Currently the most popular selling machine (MacBook) only has a shared-memory Intel graphics chip on board, which just doesn't cut it. |

Even tried C&C Generals in a Windows BootCamp and it just locked when I selected Multiplayer->Network and this was on the lowest resolution settings. Tried a friends copy of the Mac version a while back on my iBook and that was fine. Only problem with the Mac version of Generals is that the multiplayer component isnt cross platform, ie Windows can only play Windows and Mac can only play Mac. Well done there EA ![]() Then again the network code has usually been the weakest portion of any EA game I've played to date. |
