Not too sure if one really exists. Unix, by SCO, is a licensed software like Windows. Because of that, any program that uses the Unix hierarchy could be liable for lawsuit. In fact, major linux brands are facing this type of lawsuit right now.

SCO was bought by Caldera a while back, and I know that at work we have the option of loading Linux Kernal compatilbility when installing UnixWare, but it is not a free distro like your average Linux. Try looking at their site for UnixWare 7.1.1, 8, or 7.1.3. and see what they say. There was a free single-user licence available for 7.1.1 at one time.

1st Unix != Linux ... Linux is a "Unix like" OS ... they share no code
2nd I believe the BSD's are as close as your going to get to a "true" Unix for free.

They even went all out to say that the 2.5.x kernel had illegal Unix code.

Its like being a morphine addict, except to Windows. I don't even like Windows, its just that I'm so use to the file structure or Windows. Then I remembered my old sparc and unixware, the good ole days. But then realized SCO had screwed everything up, and then thought I'd write my own kernel. LMFAO!!! LIKE I COULD WRITE A KERNEL!!!
So I think im gonna try http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net...
