I am thinking of dual booting Linux / Windows XP and set up apache under Linux. Which is the best Linux version with a GUI, like windows, and is the easiest to configure, etc... |

Its not the easiest distro, but slackware is a good choice chosen by many for servers.
If you want help with dual booting XP and Slackware 10 i have wrote a tutorial here. |

Easy to configure and nice GUI isn't really something I connect with Slackware.
![]() If you want easy setup and don't want to poke around the inner workingsof a Linux system, I suggest Fedora. http://fedora.redhat.com I've always found this to be the easiest to install and get to work. It's not the fastest or best distro in some senses, but for what you'relooking for I'd say it's what you want. |
