Smile adjust time & date

when i click on set time & date i get the time & date window for a sec and when it finshes loading it closes by itselft... im on SuSE linux 9.10 any idea why

Probably because you aren't logged in as a root?

If your timezone is set correctly, open up a terminal and run: ntpdate ntp.nasa.gov to get your time set to the correct atomic time.

well i logged in in yast and click on time and date nothing opens, i'll try the terminal thing when i log on to linux again
