Default Linux Forum Guidelines.

Linux Forum Guidelines

This section is for the discussion of alternative operating systems such as Linux and the BSD distributions.
The section may be used to obtain information before installing one of these operating systems, trouble shooting your problems once you have, and any other topic of general discussion relating to these operating systems.

Due to the nature of the section we must re-iterate that there is no flaming allowed on these forums, and any such occurrences are looked down upon and shall be deleted.

Please remember that there are many, many different distributions and flavours of Linux and BSD, whichever distro a user may choose is their own free choice. There is no one distribution which is better than another, each serves it's own purpose.

Please keep in mind that this section is actively moderated by Mac, Windows, Linux and BSD users, therefore it is not possible to have moderators on your "side", we are all equal minded regarding the different computing platforms available and being used by our members, we respect each-others opinion and choice.

The full forum guidelines are available for viewing here.
