no-one ever hear of OpenDNS?

If HK-47 and GLaDOS had a child, the character they create would cause the video game world to overdose on awesome. -sheridanmovieguy: Dragon age forum user.

Nothing wrong with options. I just add all of them to my DNS entries.

i will stick with opendns - tried and tested, just another way for google to worm their way into more of your information.

This is a way to compete with Opendns and Dyn Dns .. I like it, and am curious to see where it goes ..

All three of these are slower than the ones I am using and may be slower for you as well.
You really need to benchmark dns servers to see which are the best for you.
I listed a dns benchmark app in the benchmarking section.

I am using dyn dns now and it seems to be pretty good. I noticed with OpenDns that there were times where it would just lag for a couple of minutes. I haven't had that prob with Dyn ...

OpenDNS does more than I need a DNS server to do. I need a DNS server to resolve a request for a domain into an IP address, not also provide redirect services, or a bunch of the other crap they provide.

Level 3 provides some excellent DNS servers that are generally faster than OpenDNS and Google's DNS, as posted in the DNS Benchmark post.
