#osnn IRC channel (irc.freenode.net) - Page 7

yeah the two hubs have split, well hub1 appears to be down at the moment, tis very annoying

I have a backup dns for allhope of irc.geffy.co.uk if the squeaknet addresses start dying for any reason

I always just use the IP I posted (which is Geffy's server) can't go wrong with an IP

Yeah Neowulf which is hub1 and also I think the DNS server for the network appears to be completely screwed at the moment. Even Kyles (TheBadger) website is down/unaccessible cause the dns is dead. Odd thing is though I did a DNS check on the squeaknet.net domain and it also uses ns6.gandi.net as well but when I try to resolve it on my home network it just doesnt seem to want to get the right information from that server. I dont know if Kyle is working on it cause none of the rest of us have seen him online

it would appear as though the DNS is back up now though

OK, chelmsford, london and hub3 are all online again now. I dont know if JJB is going to continue running chicago or not, but until we decide what to do i will leave these servers open. If we want to change it all so that it becomes a new network associated with osnn then thats fine, just let me know what the plans are.

Is irc.osnn.net possible (as a proper server, not a DNS re-direct) as Squeaknet as a whole has been a complete waste of time, where-as the London server has been pretty solid, and if Lord's server is stable too.. it could work.

Just need to get some attention for it though. The channel was pretty dead last I checked
