so far im about 40-45% though about 60 DVD's have about 10 films left and the rest are epsiode discs and they should take long 30 min eps
- 4 im doing tonight are progressive and they dont take very long - suppose i could do 1 night back ups one night off one night folding ![]() edit: least i know i got it working right after i remembered to run it as admin, and looking in take manager there are 4 processes running and i have told it to d/l work units over 5mb - see if that will help me with a few points, atm the encode is taking 97% ![]() edit2: apart from the message working, does it update how far its got in the work unit? edit3: if i kill the app will it continue from where is left off like the gui version or will i have to start the work unit again ? |

is there a vista gadet for folding because all the ones i seem to find are geared towoards dual core - not quad - and they always give me the error of no being able to find the folding exe even when i give it the full path

Run 2 instances of Netryder's Vista Gadget for dual-core systems. Point to the correct paths and you should be good to go.
I don't think it works with the SMP client, but I haven't used it so I can't tell. Hope that helps somewhat. |

Just point it to the folder and see what happens.
I think it pulls data from the .txt files, not the actual .exe so simply pointing to the correct folder SHOULD work. |

Have you looked on the Folding Forums run by stanford? Don't know if they have a proper widget but I haven't looked through all their 3'rd party contributed items yet.

The gadget samples separately from your .txt file. It picks up information at intervals so it is unlikely to be 100% accurate.
![]() It is there as a matter of convenience and presents a relatively accurate visual representation. |

The good news is our team totals and average are rising again. I would like us to reside around 20k a day if possible
![]() But 15k is nothing to sniff at. |

I have a desktop under my desk here at work that I've been using as my main folding machine. Finally replaced it (was an old P4) with a slightly newer box - but the nice thing is the new box has two physical CPU's which means I can now run the SMP client. Been finishing the SMP Workunits about every 2 days meaning I push my daily average to ~700-800 points per day..

how you stop the smp client without it always getting narky and deling the work unit you have 50% done, eveery time i stop it after its been running overnight, it says that it was shutdown imporperly and there is a file_io_error, and that is deleting the work unit and continuing.
But nothing seesm to happen and the cpu is idle |
