[GEN3RIC]

Ive been a forum member of several BMW forums for years. DTMpower.net, Bimmerforums.com, Automotiveforums.com, etc etc... I basically have two huge passions:

- geek stuff
- car stuff

That's all that matters in life! Another small hobby of mine is photography, so I'd like to take the time to show you some of my favorites in life. OK before you flame me for "showing off my BMW", remember, I'm not some stuck up like you normally see. Its been a realistic dream-car of mine since I first saw one in 1996ish and I got one a while back finally. Shame its likely for sale! Enjoy it while it lasts. Without further adieu..

I don't have a car at the moment, don't even have a full license. But I'll be going to take the test in a few weeks and hopefully I'll also have a car by the summer

hehe But thanks for your compliments! If you didnt live in Minneapolis I would ask how you got around without a license!

If it is the one labeled 1024.wallpaper, tha tmight be too small for you. Here is a big version to that pic since its the only one I excluded a big res for.

Awesme Peugeot..as you know we do not get those here in the states.

Generic, for the car with glowing headlights/street in back, it looks pretty indistinct because you tried to expose for both the car's lights, the car, and the background and lost detail in process, as well as much light.

You did 13 seconds of exposure at F/29, which is a bad combination - most glass peaks it's prime around f/8-f/11, past that you'll get quality drop off. You can do a long exposure, which would get the car, the world around it, but not the headlights. Assuming you're using a tripod, expose again for the headlights and then layer it in photoshop, and presto! Much better image. If you have loads of money to throw around, get a tilt-shift lense, Canon has a few. Crazy/fun results with depth of field and the focal plane, here's an example ( not mine )



As for my cars, I don't really shoot 'em. I have a banged up 1988 Crown Victoria with the police package ( P72, 5.8L V8 ) with 100k on it sitting in a garage. Very fast if I can get it to start.

Currently contemplating a newer Crown Vic, looks just like this one, P71 police package.
