i guess i will have to get a dell laptop from the US and see this for my self. its intresting to see that this would happen but i dont think that they could store enough offline info on a 512k rom. its very very small. but 1 byte for a letter but still.

Besides, even if something like this were found...it wouldn't be too difficult to cut a wire. No wire, no path for electrons to flow
