I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I am going to have to take my work desktop offline because I am getting a new computer. The good news is that it is a Core 2 Duo laptop so I should be able to crank out some WUs. I will just have to make sure that I configure it so that it does not fold when the laptop is being powered by battery. New computer comes tomorrow

Well team as of 12:00am Saturday I will be giving my PS3 a rest. I had it running for 14 days straight. It was an experiment I wanted to do a see how it did, I am glad I was able to contribute to the team with it. but I want to play some games now
my numbers will fall due to I only have 2 other rigs, 1 Old Duron and a 3000+ AthlonXP. i will give it a go in the future...

Sometimes it takes awhile for them to finish, they are dealing with terrabytes of data. So.........
I had to take two clients off the project, a laptop here for lack of resources, and my old compy in the oher store VIA RDC as they siad it shutoff twice in one day, and it is "making noise" to the tune of a squeal, so I believe the PSU is dieing. But we are opening another location, and more new compys there too means more folding. |
