Default ahh crap.
i think i might have blown out my speakers. i was listening to some tunes all day yesterday and a little this morning. it was on pretty loud. they sound great this morning but now they sound all muffled and stuff. i have the altec lansing 2100.

Could be sound card damage also.

Plug the headsets in and see how they sound. It's probably in the speakers though, since they are amplified and don't put much load on the sound card.
