Question 56k usage

this is for 56k dial up users only.(for obvious reasons)

how many hours per month do you spend on the net? + what isp do you use.

i use aol *shudder* + last month i was on 134.76666666666666666666666666667 hours

dam 2z thas a lot of net time. mine is last months bill for me + 3 outher users:P

i did have a f**king big total, durin summer though when i was on like 24/7

ok ok, i know i got dsl , but if i was the only one using it, i'd have much bigger #s there

p.s.
when i had dial up i was on for quite a lot, cuz i was leavinf stuff to dl over night, almost every single night

average over 180 hours per month. kids who have a separate account average over 200 hours a month. mine is through phone company. theirs through a isp

i was on bt pay monthly but i got kicked off because although it says you can use it anytime you like 24/7 it means, you use the service to much sod off! (i got kicked off now i hate BT)

im on freeserve £13 a month thingy im on pretty much all the time

BT have never said that you can use they're ISP 24/7, they say you are able to connect anytime of the day 24/7, if you read the terms and conditions they do actually state that exessive use is forbidden and accounts using the net for more than 12 hours a day will be terminated. (altho the new terms limit 150hr/mnth)

i'm not stickin up for BT i f*****g hate them more than anything
and Freeserve couldnt provide a better dial-up service if they tried. it's just BT have never actually said people can stay online 24 hours a day, and its a common mistake many people make.

hey here's a connection log of my friend there


the dsl/isdn hours are how long he's online using dsl, and it is his account, he's paying for it

the analog usage hours there are hours that his friend using his sn using dial up btw the owner doesnt have a clue about this beeing done
