Remember when I cracked my iPod screen?

Well I've only gone and done it again, I bought an iPod Touch 4g in May and this afternoon I dropped in on my way home from work. It hit the concrete path & cracked the screen at the bottom, I've only had it 3 months

It doesn't cover broken screens, gonna cost me about £70 to have it replaced.

I don't think that would have helped cause it hit with some force

to crack those screens you need to actively throw them at the floor or have it land perfectly on a corner when the glass is weakest. Otherwise its near unbreakable.

Thats exactly what happened, last time I broke an ipod touch it hit and shattered the upper the upper right corner on stone steps, this time it's the bottom left corner on uneven paving slabs

After looking round for a trustworthy place to get it fixed I've realised it happens it too a lot of people and it's not just me. I'm going to start taking it outside wrapped in bubble wrap or cotton wool

Putting it in a case with shock springs would be better.
