Default Video card upgrade complete!

Okay so I got fed up of ATI/AMD's inability to fix their opengl driver and got me an 8800GTX. For those of you in the UK I got this card: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-051-OK

pushed the clocks yesterday to 626Mhz core, whatever RivaTuner set the shader clock to and 2000MHZ (1000MHZ real) off the bat and played Neverwinter Nights 2 addon for the next 12 hours without issue.

High point for me is the working OpenGL driver

Highly recommended from me.

If HK-47 and GLaDOS had a child, the character they create would cause the video game world to overdose on awesome. -sheridanmovieguy: Dragon age forum user.

ATI hardware isn't bad. They just can't get their OpenGL driver working

Having said that I'm exceedingly happy with the 8800GTX. Fast, works.

I just hate thinking about how I could buy the latest super graphics card now but generally when I do the following week the next best thing is announced.

So I lie waiting, like a ninja.

I bought it on saturday while at work. Sunday I started playing at 9am and finished at 3am when I really had to sleep before work. It's awesome, where the original campaign gets boring.

There's nothing revolutionary on the immediate horizon, and you know it. NOW IS THE TIME TO STRIKE!
