Although the GeForce 6800, GeForce 6800 GT, and GeForce 6800 Ultra share the same basic NV40 architecture, there are clock speed and pipeline differences between them. Here's how the three 6800 iterations stack up against each other and ATI's competing Radeon family.

350mhz compared to 400 of ultra. even tho u can easily oc a GT card to 400 and saving $100 at least while at it. get it, u wont regret it.

GT = slowed down Ultra. Also uses inferior sillicon in most cases

Changing my NV Silencer 5 v1 for a v2 today -- woo, got lots of different syringes full of goop coming too, so should be able to get it below stock temperatures now.

One of the major differencies is the latencies in memory which is lwoer for the Gt than the Ultra.
