Geforce 3's the best? http://gamershq.madonion.com/ Looks to me like Radeon 8500 is beating the Gf3 even with its extremely screwed up drivers. if ATI improves the drivers even more, the Radeon 8500 will kill the GF3 even more easily

First question that should be asked is what kind of video card, ram, and cpu do you have? You won't nessicarily need a GF3 to get a decent framerate in CS. Sure a GF3 or a Radeon 8500 would be nice, but you could probably get a used GF2 or Radeon for 1/4 of the price.
