Antec file server and radeon 8500...?
I've been away for a few days, been really busy... Anyway, I finally collected my unemployment money from when I was jobless 6 months ago  so what did I spend it on? My computer of course! (ok, and a little on my girlfriend too, otherwise she'd probably have broken up with me) lolI just ordered a new Antec SX-1030 SOHO File Server Case, 2 new 80mm fans (plus the two stock = 4 case fans), a Radeon 8500 Retail, and an Antec Cyclone Blower for the Radeon Oh yeah also a Dynatron 1206BMO Copper CPU cooler and a full set of round IDE cables (two HDDs, two CD-R/DVD, and one floppy)...Given the hardware, and given the fact that I will most likely be oc'ing my Radeon from 275Mhz to 300Mhz (hence the Cyclone Blower), do you think I should be able to overclock my AthlonXP 1800+ (1533Mhz) to maybe 1900+ (1600Mhz) or more? I want to be able to keep my case temp under 35C load and my core under 45C load... What do you guys think? Does anyone here have any of the same hardware...? Thanks for the input!!! mavis |
