look @ my specs below and tell me wat i shud put my agp apreture size to, its currently on 128 mb is that ok?

128 is correct...the AGP size refers to the video cards ram. The only setting to be set maybe is if you have a x4 or x8 card..and if your motherboard supports x8...

Bench at 128, then bench at 64. Which ever provides the best performance is the magic size.

id agree with snook...............setting the aperture size to the equivalent ram doesnt necessarily mean the best performance......play around with the settings and find the best one

agp aperture size does not really affect performance much but it does sometimes affect the stability of a system..

rule of thumb.. normally set the aperture size to 1/4 of total system memory...

I leave mine @ 128 since I have a 128MB vid card and have noticed absolutely no difference between 256/128 or 64mb aperture size :)

if your system is stable... it does not matter..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
