Default Which is better Value for Money?
Hi,
I am going to buy one of the following cards:

128MB Crucial Radeon 8500LE - £62.26

Novatech GeForce3 Nvidia 64MB DDR Graphics Card - £44.99


I am only looking for a cheap card to replace my voodoo3 3000 because its crap with XP.

Can you please tell me which you think I should buy, which is best value for money?

If you want a cheap card, then go for the nVidia. It's ram amount is definitely enough, and the support for drivers is fantastic.

you will NOT be disapointed with the radeon, I've seen far lesser radeon's outperfom GF3's. I guarantee you will be able to play every game most excellently with that card, full resolution, ect. That card (which I'm using) just flat out kick's ass.

well yes.. the 8500 series outperforms the gf3 series...

as far as drivers are concerned... they are as polished on the 8500 series as on the gf3 series... plus they are certified by m$

beyond that.. I prefer 128mb to 64... better performance @ higher resolutions...
