Here's a simple OSNN banner I made using an online tool at http://www.bannerfans.com/banner_maker.php. It's a great tool for those who aren't into web-designing and want to quickly make banners for anything.

Not sure if that banner is needed.

But yes for people without applications like Dreamweaver and photoshop, that link might be useful.

That's neat. Not sure if you are trying to get us to use that for the site. We have a small army of designers that frequent the site, so there is no shortage of talent around here. Willing is another question!

I could see that being useful though for those with no editing experience or that do not know someone who does. Which seems unlikely, everyone knows somebody who knows someone that has photoshop these days.

No way, this is not usable for this site. I just wanted to show what could be done for this simple tool. This tool is only to be used by those that don't know how to design and like to create quick banners.

One that has been around for many many years is Cooltext.
Myself, I use PSP 9.
