In Device Manager there are 4 items without drivers. 3x Base System Device 1x Unknown Device I was wondering if anyone would know what these are, I tried updating them without luck. Seems like everything is working though. Ideas? |

Right-click the devices and get the hardware/vendor ID's then look them up to find who made them.

The only info I can find on the items is this.
For the Unknown Device I get *HPQ0004 For one of the others PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&SUBSYS_30FC103C&REV_00 Same kind of thing for the others. Is this the correct info, or am I looking at the wrong stuff. |

Hardware ID is what you want.
LIke this one: PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2384&SUBSYS_30FC103C&REV_00 Vendor ID is 197B and device is 2384 197B is JMicron: PCI Vendor and Device Lists Device 2384 on that page is: JMB38X xD Host Controller Google that and you should find your driver. Get how it works now? |
