I kinda got the same impression. I just got a wall mount for my TV, so I'll probably just mount the cantenna behind it anyway on a self-designed mount.

Save some money and buy one that just has the SMA cable (if he has those for sale). My tripod fit fine, but it's too small to hold up a big can.
