HP dv9000z Wireless issues

When connecting to different networks (Especially ones that require you to click accept) I often have to restart my computer, or at the very least turn off and on my wireless.

This also happens on my own network if I download a lot of stuff, I'll have to turn my wireless off and on.

It also takes a few minutes and sometimes a restart for my computer to recognize when an ethernet cord has been plugged in.

Any Help, it's really getting annoying...

Not the wireless drivers unfortunately.
I just checked for them, and said they were all up to date (By Checked, I mean downloaded from hp and installed)

i have just bought an hp laptop - hope i dont get this issue - have you tried resetting the router or access point? maybe that is at fault

this happens to me on all wireless laptops at times, for some reason it will see the network, the signal will be strong and will not connect till restart

I have tried disabling the adapter, turning off explorer, everything I can think of, nothing works unless I restart

sounds like a software issue, is this a b/g/n device ?
