Default no display...

when i boot my pc my monitor goes to stanby while im on the boot screen....changed vcard, memory, PSU to no avail,,,,is it the mboard and the vcard slot???? thanks for any help

boot into safe mode and see if the refresh rate is set too high, this will sometimes cause the issue you are seeing, if not it could be a hardware issue

what kind of display? Have you tried a different monitor? And, as Carpo said, have you checked your refresh rate?

if its a case of you can see the bios info, then the windows boot screen, and then it goes black its a refresh issue

its not a refresh problem coz its only set to 1024x768, cant boot to safe mode as well, i used another cpu and plug the HD and its working fine.......so i dont know whats with it....
