Default Thinking of Exchange 2007?
This is the recommended optimum hardware setup (in boxes still at the moment). It's being setup for us by Microsoft and SWSoft end of September barring unforseen delays.

I will be moving all my email services on to this as soon as it's all ready to go!

Setup for you by Microsoft and SWSoft? Where's the fun in that?

Clustering is awesome.

How much RAM per box? I quickly upgraded my Exchange 2007 box from 2GB to 4GB.

the two main servers are dual quad core with 16GB of ram. the rest are faily standard windows 2003 servers.
