Default Poweredge 1600SC tower question

Hey all,

I have a poweredge 1600SC server tower with 2x36gig SCSI drives RAID'ed together.

Was Wondering if I can add to the HD, if there are any PCI/SATA/SCSI ports available. Would like to add two mirrored drives, hopefully.

Second, How do I get inside the tower?

Thanks

Heeter

You should be able to remove the front, I don't remember how many drives it can take off the top of my head.

Once the front is off you can remove screws and the side will slide off.

Check for a clip at the bottom, under the front panel. Press or pull. I forget too.

When I removed the front, I realized that this tower has hot swap drive bays as well, so I ordered a couple of 80pin 300giggers to add to the hot swap RAID.

Thanks again, guys,

Heeter
