I have heard that the Promise connection would be faster because it is a SCSI card? Probably bench marking would be the thing to do but if someone has already proven it why reinvent the wheel. Any ideas? |

I'd of said they run the same, if they both support UDMA100, then UDMA100 is the max your gonna get, or am i being too obvious!! lol

Yes, thanks, let me know.
I guess a question that would go along with this, would the system be faster overall if you only had one device on each IDE port and they were all masters. |
