I just bought a Lian Li PC-60 aluminium case without a power supply for A$250.00 or around US$500.00.
A lot for a case but gee, looks good.

ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon video card, dont remember exactly what I paid for it (got it when it first came out) but it was a little more than I paid for the ASUS A7V266-E motherboard.

I've somehow managed to pick up everything in my system for >$250...
Umm... I guess the most expensive thing was my sound system, got it when it first came out, and it was $250 or so (everything else has been less)... mavis |

I have a freind (no names mentioned bytes back !!) thru' whom I "obtain" most of my components from a local wholesaler at wholesale prices ! MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm Nice!
Tho' i'm very jealous of Max with his 21' Monitor, all I can manage is a 17', tho' it is very nice. |

Hmm... I guess I would have to say my Motherboard... I paid $200 for it... its an ASUS board... and the processor is an AMD Duron 800MHz.
I got my 17" monitor as a gift... and all the other parts I got from various computer shows... I just keep upgrading SOMETHING everytime I go... It's dangerous.. I just keep on spending it! |

I cheat and upgrade via Gothic, so as an example I bought an XP chip, he had my 1.2 athlon, makes for cheap upgrades !!!
But my most expensive ( if this is allowed under the rules ( does anyone know the rules ? )) is my PDA at about £160

Nicked my monitor from teh UK army, so my most expensive piece of kit has to be my HDD, which is only a 40 gig UDMA100, but my system is dated.
Won't be long before my dented case is teh most expensive bit of kit!!! |
