Default Acer Ferarri 3400

I am interersted in purchasing a new laptop because i am going to be going to college. I am looking for a good reliable laptop and think that i found a good match. I am curious as to what you all thought about it, and any pros or cons. I really want to know everything about this laptop before i sink $1999 or whatever the price at newegg is, into it. Thanks guys

A friend of mine has an Acer ferarri. The battery life on this one will be pretty poor and Acer's technical support is rather crap (in England). This laptop does however, look very swish! I would think about another make than Acer though!!!! btw have a look at ebuyer.com, might find it a little cheaper.
