Default Intellimouse Optical Probs w/ multiple users................

Does anyone know why this happens? I have my extra buttons programmed to do various things, but if I logout or "switch user" with my wife and log back in my settings are gone? She has it installed on her login too - and she has administrator rights as do I. I have the latest software (4.1). Any suggestions? Do you think deleting it from her login would help?

Thanks in advance.

yeah i emailed microsoft tech support about that telling them it was a bug. Then they wrote back "this is not our bug, it is a user mistake, you may pay for phone support or visit our forums." yet another case of microsoft in denial.
