If you are going to order IDE cables....
I ordered one today to keep around, it is cheaper to buy this and get the IDE cables from it instead of ordering new ones..... the deal is only good till the 16th, so if you want to build a cheap computer for somebody who wont be playing heavy games, here it is! |

Be careful. I've heard several "horror stories" about Soyo's mail-in rebates.

huh - and wll you get decent IDE 80 cables this way? My guess is they will be cruddy - ebem the IDE I got with my MSI K8N Neo2 mobo looked pretty but was probably sub-standard....

I am now holding my two 45 dollar rebate checks(hard to type with one hand). I feel lucky that I did get these rebates; I have read so many stories like Netryder said. DONT deal with soyo EVER. I will never buy one of their mobos again. It works ok, but ehh....Take my word for it and dont buy a soyo motherboard, regaurdless of the rebates

IDE cables are IDE cables... they're only going tpo be a problem if the shielding is worn/cut to reveal the conductor inside. Beyond that they're all just copper wires...
