Default driver update program

Is there a program that will examine what hardware you have on your computer and automatically check the internet for any new drivers?

Core 2 Quad Q9450 | 4GB DDR2 800 | Abit IP-35 Pro | eVGA GTX 295+

I Love Windows 7!

Yes, it's called Windows XP. Windows Update will let you know whenever there has been a new driver added under the WHQL program.

If you want beta drivers or uncertified released drivers there are programs available. Do a google for "driver update program".

Thought for the new millenium:

In a world without walls and fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

I would suggest not getting drivers from Winupdate as 99% of the time they are nice and old.

Everest (based on Aida32) is the closest thing that will do the job you want. It recognizes several manufacturers of several components of your PC and provides you with a link to their website, where you can download drivers.

http://www.lavalys.com/ is the link. Enjoy. xD

Edit: Seems Everest now supplies driver download links as well. Good for you, I guess.
