How is that even a comparison? The P4C800 has the 875 chipset, while the intel board has the 865.

It would make more sense to compare the P4P800 with the intel d865perl. Even as that's the case, I'd go for the Asus. Great board, great price, great support, no problems. It allows for overclocking also...

• Windows XP Home Edition SP2
• Pentium 4 3.0GHz
• 1GB Kingston HyperX DDR 3200
• Asus P4P800 Motherboard
• ATI Radeon X850 XT
• SB Audigy 2 ZS
• WD 36GB 10K Raptors RAID 0
• WD 120GB 7200 HD w/ 8MB Cache
• 12x DVD+/-RW • 52x24x52 CD-RW

Yeah, I'm getting a P4P800 tomorrow to upgrade my PC. Supposed to be a really good board which is giving some good overclocking results (which is what I will do).

ive got a P4C800 Deluxe and it rocks!

If you are looking to get one, make sure it is the P4C800 -E Deluxe.

Not sure what the differences are but E definatley is more stable.

the 875 and 865(pe) have such a marginal diffence in proformance.... and asus has the pat set on in the p4p800s, so its practically the same exact thingas the 875, just cheeper, and maybe 1% slower...
and i love my p4p800 deluxe...
