That program will even tell you what week of what year your monitor was built.

If I had money, I would get a second one, same one as I have now

Samsung Syncmaster 170t 17in Digital ( DVI )

for Photoshop, so that I could have one screen dedicated to the picture, and another one just for winamp/graphical displays of system performance, etc

3 high performance monitors are way cool.

Hey... why not?

I do video editing, photo editing, web page design... Wouldn't it be great if you could view everything at once and not have to switch between them? Thought so...

Plus... It just looks kewl

AND... I can play a game while watching chat windows on one screen or reading a FAQ about the game on another... get the point?

Told ya Glaanieboy, it's cool!

NickM - there is a picture in my original post

Just wanted to add... I would have more monitors if I didn't have such a hard time getting cards to work together... FYI - S3 video cards DO NOT work as anything except the master card. Obviously noone wants that... Getting 2 to work together was hard enough... 3 was a pain... I am looking into a card that actually has 4 displays on it. Let me know if you need help setting it up... it's definately worth the time.

Nick, it does look cool, but I was just curious to know why he needed 3 monitors, but he has given his points, so I am now convinced. Personally I don't like the idea of more than one monitor, I have more than enough with one. BTW, I am going to buy me a new monitor. After more than 3 1/2 years, my current (17" CRT Packard Bell made) monitor is dying and I gonna get me a 15 " TFT monitor by Samsung.
