Thats the one I have. The most noticeable difference (mainly from 8MB cache) is boot time. I had an old WD 20gig 5400rpm and it took around 40 seconds to get through the boot screen. the drive you're asking about made the boot screen loading process go by in 11 seconds. All I did was ghost old drive to new, so speed increase was from new drive only. My advice is to go with only WD or Maxtor. Also that is a great deal for that drive from the site your lookin' at.
