Default Raid Setup Help
I have just upgraded my mobo to an Abit KX7-333 raid. I have 2 maxtor 60gig 7200 drives which are set up in a raid 0 - stripping array. My question is what would be the optimal settings for a system used mainly for dvd encoding (large files up to about 4 gig). I have partion magic 8 which enables me to alter the ntfs cluster size(currently default 4k). I have noticed a big speed improvement going from a 64 k to a 128 k cluster size on the array but this can be adjusted up to 2 mb.

So what settings do I use?

Since you only use the disk for very large files I suggest you use as big clusters as possible.
